(AOF) – In the first half of 2022, the turnover of Augros Cosmetic Packaging amounted to 10.20 million euros, compared to 7.71 million euros in the first half of 2021, an increase of 32% . This growth is the direct consequence of the gradual exit from the crisis linked to the Covid-19 pandemic, and the relaunch of airport retail activity in 2022 and new developments.
Operating income was up sharply at 600,000 euros, compared to 288,000 euros in the first half of 2021, i.e. a rate of 5.8% of turnover, up two points.
The financial result is a loss of -€35,000, due to the start of PGE reimbursements, compared to -€17,000 in 2021.
The half-year net income is up sharply in 2022 at 552,000 euros, compared to 197,000 euros at June 30, 2021.
The company expects growth to intensify in the second half, given the increase in order books in the last quarter at its two factories.
Tensions on lead times for raw materials are easing, but those for semi-finished products remain unusually long.
This situation is leading its customers to lengthen their order books by 2023.
