At the end of the ecclesial assembly, a final message was adopted, synthesized into a list of twelve “Pastoral challenges”, among which :
– “Recognize and enhance the role of young people (…) as agents of transformation”
– « Promote the active participation of women in ministries, instances of government, discernment and ecclesial decision ”.
– “Increase formation in synodality to eradicate clericalism ”
– « Support the victims social and ecclesial injustices ”
– “Reforming training routes seminarians ”
– “Give priority to an integral ecology in our communities ”
– “Foster a personal encounter with Jesus Christ, embodied in the reality of the continent ”
The fixed “horizon” is the year 2031, 500e anniversary of the apparitions of Guadalupe.
