(AOF) – Capelli published a turnover in the second quarter of its fiscal year 2021-2022 of 73.4 million euros, up 25% over one year. The real estate developer has revealed that since January 1 it has filed building permit applications for more than 1,300 lots, and one-calendar year permits are up 73%. Over the half-year, sales rose 9.5% to 141.1 million euros, supported by the excellent momentum in Switzerland and Luxembourg (+ 90%), while France (68.5 % of activity) fell by 8%.
Despite a slight improvement in the second quarter, activity in France remains penalized by an unfavorable base effect (strong rebound in activity following the end of the first containment in 2020 with bulk sales which were very high) and by the extension ad hoc administrative delays linked to the health crisis.
For the current financial year, Capelli reiterates its anticipation of achieving growth of around 20%. The backlog amounts to € 715 million, including € 147 million internationally.
