The Covid continues to grow
On average calculated over seven days, the number of daily cases of Covid-19 has almost doubled in one week in France: it was 17,153 on Saturday, November 20, against 9,458 the previous Saturday, an increase of 81%. The epidemic is accelerating, without causing at this stage a massive influx to the hospital. Saturday, 7,974 patients were hospitalized, including 1,333 in critical care services (against 6,500 and 1,000 a month earlier).

Thousands of protesters against violence against women
Women’s rights defenders mobilized on Saturday, November 20, particularly in Paris, to say « stop » gender-based and sexual violence and “Demand public policies to match”. In the capital, the demonstration gathered 50,000 people according to the organizers, 18,000 according to the police. Other gatherings are planned in France until November 25, international day against this violence.

In Guadeloupe, the violence continues
The government announced the dispatch of members of the GIGN and the RAID to Guadeloupe after another night of riots on November 20, despite the curfew imposed in the face of the anti-health pass mobilization.
