(AOF) – UBS has confirmed its Sell recommendation and price target of SEK 95 after buying Vonage for $ 6.2 billion. The design office explains that Ericsson wants to increase its business customer base after the takeover of Cradlepoint ($ 1.1 billion in 2020) and cloud services. He positively judges the logic of this transaction for Ericsson, which wants to diversify beyond mobile networks and find new sources of revenue growth.

If Ericsson is not known for its results in terms of integration, the broker considers the deal interesting because it believes that the telecoms equipment manufacturer needs to increase its cloud offerings.
